Udyami Bharat Scheme:- A special program to be organized by the Prime Minister of India to help all the candidates noticing the frontier small businesses in India.

Udyami Bharat Scheme(उद्यमी भारत योजना)

The Prime Minister of India has decided to participate in the Udayami Bharat scheme.

The event will be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi today and during the event, the Chief Minister will launch Raising And Accelerating MSME Performance Scheme, Capacity Building Of First Time MSME Exporters and Prime Minister’s Generation Program to add new job opportunities.

The Prime Minister will also digitize support for beneficiaries of business generation programs in 2022 and 2023.

He will also announce the results of the MSME Idea Hackathon, 2023; National MSME Award Distribution, 2022; and issue digital equity certificates to 75 MSMEs in the Self-Reliant India Fund.

Objective Of Udyami Bharat Scheme

The main objective of this policy is to reflect the government’s continued commitment to empowering cross-border and small businesses in India from day one.

Several schemes like Mudra Yojana, Credit Line Guarantee Scheme have also been launched from time to time to generate surplus funds for small and marginal businesses to help lakhs of middle class families in the country.

6000 crore will be sanctioned for Raising And Accelerating MSME business programme. The scheme will be implemented to maximize the capacity of small and marginal enterprises in the districts and enhance existing MSME schemes.

It will also support the India campaign by encouraging innovation and promoting ideas from new businesses.

Benefits Of Udyami Bharat Scheme

There are several schemes implemented by the Chief Minister under Udyami Bharat Scheme The project will also add new features to the business generation scheme which will increase the project overhead from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh for manufacturing and from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh for services sector.

Applicants from expression districts and a special transgender applicant group will also be included so they can receive more support.

Entrepreneurs are also given hand-holding support through involvement of banking, technology and marketing experts.

The Prime Minister will also announce the results of the MSME Idea hackathon launched in March to encourage individual creativity. The selected candidate will be awarded Rs 1,500,000 for the approved idea.

Features Of Udyami Bharat Scheme

• The Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance’ (RAMP) program at a cost of about Rs 6000 crore aims at enhancing the capacity utilization and complementarity of MSMEs in the states, including MSME enhancing the impact of existing programs by fostering innovation, encouraging ideas, quality standards and improving practices and processes , will contribute to India’s Self-Reliance Mission by increasing market access, using 4.0 technological tools and services to make MSMEs competitive and self-reliant, and starting new businesses.
• The ‘Capacity Building of First Time MSME Exporters’ (CBFTE) scheme aims to encourage MSMEs to supply products and services of international standards to the global market. This will enhance the participation of Indian MSMEs in the global value chain and help them realize their export potential.
• Other features of the ‘Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme’ (PMEGP) include an increase in the maximum project expenditure in manufacturing to Rs 50 lakh (from Rs 25 lakh) and services sector to Rs 20 lakh (from Rs 10 lakh) and candidate constituencies & transgender candidates among the special candidates. Additionally, hand holding support is provided to clients/entrepreneurs through involvement of banking, technology & marketing experts.
• The objective of MSME Idea Hackathon, 2023 was to promote and support the adoption of untapped individual creativity, cutting edge technologies and innovations in MSMEs Selected ideas submitted will be given financial assistance of up to Rs. 15 lakh per approved proposal.
• The National MSME Awards 2023 recognizes the contribution of MSMEs, States/UTs, candidate states and banks for their outstanding performance
