Pedalandariki Illu Scheme:- The state government of Andhra Pradesh is managing an ambitious housing scheme known as Pedalandariki Illu Scheme. The state government provides free housing to eligible individuals under this scheme.

According to the Andhra Pradesh government, Rs 46.90 crore will be repaid as interest to 4, 07,323 eligible beneficiaries under the Pedalandariki Ilu scheme.

Features & Benefits of Pedalandariki Illu Scheme

1. The Andhra Pradesh government will provide free housing to poor people of the state under the Pedalandariki Ilu scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for Pedalandariki Illu Scheme

Rural Area:

• The beneficiary should be a white ration card holder family identified as Below Poverty Line (BPL).
• The beneficiaries should not have their own home or house anywhere in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
• The largest population to benefit, whether wetlands or dryland, could be Ac. 2.5 cts or Ac. 5.00 CT available.
• The beneficiary should not have been part of any state or central government housing program in the past.
• Currently Aadhaar card issued by the recipient is required. Aadhaar details can be collected only with the permission of the beneficiary.

Urban Area

• In the state of Andhra Pradesh, the beneficiary is not allowed to own a house or a house.
• The beneficiary has not been eligible for coverage under any state or central government housing scheme in the past.
• The annual income of the household (from all sources) should not exceed Rs. 3, 00,000 (equivalent to Rs. 3 lakh only).
• Not more than Ac. 2.5 cts Water or Ac. Dry land 5.00 cts could be a beneficiary.
• The beneficiary needs an active Aadhaar card. Aadhaar details can be collected only with the permission of the beneficiary.

Application Process for Pedalandariki Illu Scheme

1. The Andhra Pradesh Pedalandariki Illu Scheme is applied for by submitting an application form.
2. The application form can be obtained from the secretariat office of the village or the ward.
3. Complete the application form completely, and include the necessary paperwork with it.
4. Fill out the form and turn it along with your documents to the village or ward secretariat.
5. Volunteers from the village or ward will review the application and verify the applicant’s eligibility.
6. The Village or Ward Secretariat’s office will publish the first qualified beneficiary list.
7. Gram/Ward Sabha shall formally approve the recipients’ list.
8. After that, the District Collector will get the final beneficiary list for approval.
9. Once more, the Village/Ward Secretariat office will publish the final beneficiary list.
10. Following that, the family’s female member will receive a House Site Patta, and building on the houses will shortly resume
