About Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana

The Tripura government has launched the Chief Minister’s Yuba Yoga Yojana. Under this scheme, the government is going to provide financial assistance of Rs 5,000 to each beneficiary for purchasing smartphones.

Only students who completed their final year of undergraduate degree in the academic year 2020-21 will be eligible to benefit from the scheme.

The student must have graduated from any Government College/ Institute/University in Tripura. The smartphone must be purchased on or after April 1, 2021.

Students must also submit a physical copy of the fee to their institution. Institutions will submit the physical copies to the Information Technology Department after final verification. All APL or BPL category students can avail this facility.

Objective Of Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana 2023

The main objective of the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana is to provide smartphones to students in their final year of postgraduate studies. The Tripura government is going to pay Rs 5,000 for the purchase of the smartphone.

With this smartphone, students can access education through digital mode. This scheme is also going to improve the lives of the people of Tripura. Then all the students who could not study properly due to lack of digital mode will get education which will further help them to get better job opportunities

• Students can also buy smartphones from the internet.

• Applicants should be permanent residents of Tripura
• Applicants must complete their final year of an undergraduate degree in the academic year 2020-21
• The student must have done undergraduate studies in any Government College/ Institute/University in Tripura
• The smartphone must be purchased on or after April 1, 2021
• A student belonging to APL or BPL category will be eligible to avail this scheme
• Students enrolled in distance mode courses will not be able to avail of this program
