Implementation Process
The Maharashtra government has appointed Additional Union Secretary Nitin Karrier, Principal Secretary (Women and Child Welfare) Idges Kundan and State Disaster Management Officer Abhayawalkar to coordinate temporary workforce development in their respective states.
The state government has declared all the collectors as nodal experts for recognizing and referring such abandoned persons between states and union territories as well as within Maharashtra.
