Objectives of Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Scheme
The Government of Maharashtra has launched this scheme to empower the women of the state. An amount of Rupees 1500 as financial assistance will be provided so that the women of the state do need not to depend for their daily necessities on anyone.
They can use this money for their different needs. In the first installment, the government will provide rupees 3000 to the women as a combined assistance amount for 2 months July and August.

- The applicant should be from the state of Maharashtra.
- Under this scheme, the government will provide monthly financial assistance to poor low-income women.
- Applicants must be between 21 and 65 years of age
- The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- Whether single, married, divorced, abandoned or in need, everyone is eligible.
