YSR Kanti Velugu:- YSR government has planned YSR Kanti Velugu Scheme. Through the implementation of the scheme, several incentives will be provided to the residents of Andhra Pradesh state.

Preparation Of Micro Action Plan(YSR Velugu Scheme)

• Detailed implementation plans for implementation of resources will be developed as appropriate
• The PHC will be the focal point of the Micro Action Plan
• This action plan will include team formation of primary assessment and school allocation for the team
• A team will be allocated to the school based on the number of students
• The medical officer will oversee the review process
• The Medical Officer of the PHC will ensure the quality of the test

Training And Data Management Plan(YSR Velugu Scheme)

• Training will be conducted for Deputy DMHO
• Other than that, all staff involved will be given initial training
• A dedicated website will be launched
• Certificates of admission and data uploading will be provided at ANM level and Medical Officer level
• It is also mandatory to upload the PHC-level micro action plan on the website
• District level micro action plans will also be uploaded on the website
• It is the responsibility of the ANM to upload data immediately upon receipt of the data sheet from the original screening team

The screening will be done by 500 teams that have been appointed by the concerned authorities of the Andhra Pradesh government. The screening will be done by 31st July 2020. The following numbers of beneficiaries will be benefited:-

• 56,767 spectacles were distributed
• 77,485 other cases are under evaluation.
• During the first phase, 66,15,467 children were covered
• 4,36,979 children identified with eye problems.
