Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy inaugurated the YSR Law Nestham Scheme on the occasion of National Lawyers Day.

Under this scheme, all junior lawyers and lawyers will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 to help them bear the cost.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has also provided the policies and procedures for this scheme.

A list of beneficiaries will be created and those attorneys whose names appear on this list of beneficiaries will be eligible to take advantage of this policy.

This scheme will be re-opened every three months of March, June, September and December so that candidates can apply for fresh applications. Citizens must apply on the government website to access the program.

Objective Of AP YSR Law Nestham Scheme (వైఎస్ఆర్ లా నేస్తం పథకం)

The main objective of the AP YSR Law Nestam Scheme is to provide financial security to lawyers so that they can bear their expenses while practicing law.

Through this scheme, the government is going to provide financial assistance of Rs 5,000 per month in the form of subsidies.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in law
• The name of the advocate should be entered in the list of advocates maintained under Section 17 of the Advocates Act, 1961 maintained by the Bar Council of the State of Andhra Pradesh
• Only law graduates who completed in 2016 and later are eligible to use the program
• The applicant must be under 35 years of age
• The judge must also give an undertaking that online users or subscribers will be notified in the event of termination or profitable operations
• After being registered with the state bar association, the recommenders have to pass the bar examination conducted by the Bar Council of India and obtain a practicing certificate within two years
• Junior lawyers must submit an affidavit every 6 months certified by the attorney general with 15 years of practice or by the president of the court or the state bar association that they are still in active practice
• All junior advocates who have started a career and have not completed the first three years are eligible for this scholarship. The first period of three years of practice shall be counted from the date of issue of certificate of registration under section 22 of the Advocates Act, 1961

• Advocates who have completed the first 3 years of practice are not eligible
• Advocates holding a front wheel in their name are not eligible to take advantage of this scheme
• Inactive advocates are not eligible under this program

• After that you have to enter your Aadhaar number and click on send OTP
• Now you have to enter the OTP in the OTP box
