YSR Bheema Scheme is a type of insurance scheme which provides protection to poor families and informal workers in Andhra Pradesh in case of accidents.
Under this scheme, in case of death of the beneficiary due to accident or permanent disability, the insured amount, the family member of the beneficiary will get this scheme will help the citizens of Andhra Pradesh by about Rs 1.14 crore so. The government has decided a budget of Rs 510 crore for this scheme.
Under the YSR Bheema Scheme, an insurance sum of Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh will be deposited in the bank account of the beneficiary family member within 15 days.
In addition to this amount, the Andhra Pradesh government will also provide immediate financial assistance of Rs. Under the scheme, the beneficiary has to pay a premium of Rs 15 per annum.

Application Procedure Of YSR Bheema Scheme
Beneficiaries are not required to do any registration to apply for YSR Bheema Scheme. Volunteers will conduct surveys through door-to-door campaigns and verify white ration card holders.
Thereafter, the Welfare Secretary will verify the accuracy of the information gathered from the survey and select the beneficiaries. Thereafter, the nominated beneficiary will be asked to open a bank account with the nominee and the beneficiary will have to pay a fee of Rs 15 per annum.
