About West Bengal Duare Ration List 2023
The West Bengal government has decided to distribute food to the beneficiaries at doorstep. This facility will be provided under the West Bengal door-to-door ration scheme from September 15, 2021.
The government is going to conduct door-to-door distribution of food items in each district. 15% of the beneficiaries from all districts will be included in the pilot project.
Earlier, the government was launching this scheme from September 1, 2021 but with the ongoing Duare Sarkar and Paraya Samadhan Camp, most of the officials were involved in this programme
- So the government decided to delay it by 15 days.From November 2021, it will cover 70% to 80% of the total target.
- The Food Ministry has also instructed food ration vendors to divide all beneficiaries under their jurisdiction into 16 groups and specify a specific day of the week every month for distribution of food grains in each group.
- Initially it was decided that only Antyodaya Anna Yojana and priority households would benefit from the house-to-house ration scheme.

Distribution Of Ration Under West Bengal Duare Ration
Rationing was done on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of every month as per the guidelines. They will be distributed over the course of a semester in groups of 16 from the first Tuesday to the fourth Friday.
The dates may vary but the date will be the same. Sunday will be set aside for distribution to food distribution shops so that all strays can be collected from the shops Furthermore, the second half of Sunday will be reserved for distribution of food under ration mode at doorstep of the mouth for groups left behind due to holidays or weather.
Each dealer will incur an additional charge of Rs 200 per quintal for distribution under the Duare ration in West Bengal.
