The Telangana government has launched Ts 1500 Rupees Scheme to help all the poor people of Telangana who have been severely affected by the state shutdown and extended lockdown announced by the Chief Minister on April 14.

While some people are quite happy to enjoy the lockdown, some employees who earlier earned daily wages are very worried as they have nothing to eat and do not have adequate funds so the Telangana government is distributing Rs 1,500 towards those people this accounting.

To alleviate the covid-19 crisis and help daily wage paid workers/employees, Chief Minister K.S. 1112 crore for this scheme.

Ts 1500 Payment Details

As per the updated information, the State Government has transferred benefits of Rs.1500/- to the accounts of about 74 lakh beneficiaries through direct benefit transfer method.

All white-card holders will receive the funds in their bank accounts soon without delay.

According to Mareddy Srinivasa Reddy, Chairman, Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation, those who want to avail 12 kg of free rice from PDS shops will also get a benefit of Rs. 1500.

All white ration card holders will get the cash in their bank account whether they avail the free 12Kg rice or not.
