Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme 2023

On July 23, Chief Minister K.S. Consequently, guidelines for selecting beneficiaries under the scheme were published. The Department of Minority Welfare issued a Government Order (GO) to implement the Financial Assistance Scheme.

The GO says applications submitted in FY 2022–23 but still pending will be considered for 100% direct subsidy of Rs 1 lakh to each eligible candidate in 2023–24, to be administered through the Telangana State Minority Finance Corporation on .

Employees have been asked to start distributing financial assistance checks from August 16 after the Telangana government launched a financial assistance scheme of Rs 1 lakh for minorities. In addition to the Rs 270 crore already allocated,

Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao has directed officials to release another Rs 130 crore, taking the total amount to Rs 400 crore. The selection and distribution of financial assistance, as determined by the Minister, shall be based on the population of each district.

Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme

• Christian applicants will be asked to submit additional applications for consideration in the financial assistance scheme of Telangana State Christian Minorities Finance Corporation.
• One family member will get help.
• From June 2, 2023, the age limit for individual candidates has been fixed at 21 to 55 years.
• In rural areas, the annual income of the applicant cannot exceed Rs.1,50,000
• In urban areas, the annual income of the applicant cannot exceed Rs 2 lakh

Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme Necessary Guidelines

• Application for 100% direct grant of Rs 1 lack.
• To appoint Christian candidates for financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh catch 100% direct assistance is done by TSMFC, Christians have to apply for another application.
• As of June 2, 2023, the age limit for candidates is 21 to 55 years.
• Only one family member will receive the assistance.
• The annual income of the applicant cannot exceed Rs 150,000 in rural areas and Rs 2 lakh in urban areas.
• The selection process will be finalized by the District Level Screening Committee/District Institutional Examination Committee under the chairmanship of the District Convenors.
• For this arrangement, the District Collector should obtain the approval of the Minister in charge of the District on behalf of the entire Mandal.
• A progressive selection list should be provided on the TSMFC website. The grant will be given as a one-time grant.
• Telangana State Christian (Managing Director, Minority Finance Corporation, Hyderabad and Vice Chairman, Telangana State Minority Finance Corporation, Hyderabad will take appropriate further action in response.
• According to the Center for Good Governance, the implementation and management plan for online beneficiaries should include all of the aforementioned eligibility requirements.
