Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi K. Tamil Nadu is home to many low-income people who are reluctant to go to hospitals due to high medical costs, even though they may be at risk of contracting various diseases.

About 2,000 sub-clinics will be set up to provide any space required for patient examinations.
