The government of Sri Lanka has issued an important announcement for all travellers. As a pilot project, Sri Lanka on Tuesday approved visa-free entry for travelers from seven countries: India, China, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand.
The program will run for five months, ending on March 31, 2024. According to Sri Lankan Tourism Minister Harin Fernando, the Commission approved immediate visa-free entry for travelers from these countries.

Scheme Objective
