On 2nd March 2020, Mobile Annapurna Canteen Telangana State Scheme has been launched for senior citizens and PWD leaders in the state.
For this initiative, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has joined hands with Hare Krishna Andolan Charitable Foundation and flagged off five vehicles during the launch.
Animal Control Minister T Srinivas Yadav, Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, MAUD Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar, GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar, and Hare Krishna Andolan Charitable Society President Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa participated in the function.
Aiming to help the needy people, the state government has launched the Mobile Annapurna food scheme. Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will get cooked meals for Rs. 5. Food can be booked with the help of a mobile application and it will be delivered to their doorsteps.
