Under CMHIS (General), beneficiaries will be eligible for more than 1,950 medical and surgical services. Treatment is available in any of the hospitals in India participating in the Ayushman Bharat programme.
In other words, CMHIS (EP) users will be eligible for benefits comparable to those offered to Central Government employees under the Central Government Health Scheme. These patients are eligible for treatment at any CGHS participating hospital.
