Government of Goa has launched Griha Aadhar Scheme to provide financial assistance to women citizens of the state. Applicants will be shortlisted based on the required funding and annual income of the applicants.

Financial assistance will be transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on a monthly basis. The list of recipients will be narrowed down by applications submitted by recipients.

Griha Aadhar Scheme 2023

On Thursday, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Minister for Women and Child Development Vishwajeet P Rane restricted 3,000 beneficiaries of the Griha Aadhar Scheme in South Goa state.

The Home Base Program of the Directorate of Women and Child Development provides financial assistance to all domestic workers to enable them to work independently and meet their own needs. In addition to this, the program raises the standard of living of the families.

Financial assistance will be received directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Recipients have complete discretion as to how the grant will be used. This money can be used for education or to start a business in the country.

Griha Aadhar Scheme Objective

The main objective of this Griha Aadhar Scheme is to curb inflation and help the housewives and domestic workers of Goa. By implementing the system, people in the lower middle class can maintain a good standard of living.

Eligibility Criteria for Griha Aadhar Scheme

• Married women must be over 18 years of age.
• The candidate must be from Goa.
• The total income of the applicant must be less than Rs 3 lakh.
• A widow with a minor child who is a beneficiary of the Dayananda Social Security Scheme (DSSS), launched by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa is eligible for benefits under this scheme.

Exclusions for Griha Aadhar Scheme

• The State Government of Goa, its agency, or autonomous corporations receiving funds from the State Government
• Scheduled banks, except mutual banks which subordinate real money in such case
• the Government of India, any State Government, or any corporation or autonomous body

Selection Process for Griha Aadhar Scheme

• Selection will be based on eligibility requirements.
• The organization will screen applications based on eligibility requirements.
• At least 15,000 applications will be selected and benefits will be awarded in a particular academic year.
• To be selected for this scheme, applicants must come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Steps to Apply for Griha Aadhar Scheme

• First of all, visit the official website of the Griha Aadhar Scheme ie. https://www.gov.in/.
• The homepage of the web browser opens on the screen

• Click the Register button
• The registration form will open on the screen
• Now, enter your email id, mobile number and captcha code
• Then, click on generate OTP button
• Enter the received OTP and complete the registration process

• Once you have successfully registered, log in to your registered account
• Next, click the Services tab followed by All Services
• A new page will open on the screen
• Click on Directorate of Women and Child Development then click on Home Aadhaar Scheme
• Complete a questionnaire on eligibility requirements to obtain the application
• Next, fill in all the required details of the application form
• Next, upload all the required documents
• Click on the Save button to proceed with the payment
• If the application is paid in full, the application must be submitted to the department for processing.
• After submitting the form, an SMS and email will be sent along with a confirmation letter. Enter the approval number for the applications.

• Click the Tracking tab and then click Track Status
• A new page will open on the screen
• Next, select Department and Service
• Now, enter the Acknowledgment Number and captcha code
• Finally, press the Search button and the status will open on your screen
