What is Assam DARPAN Portal (অসম DARPAN পৰ্টেল)
The Higher Secondary (HS) First Year Course admissions procedure for the academic year 2023–2024 will be handled through the DARPAN portal at various colleges throughout Assam.
From May 29 through June 17, 2023, the portal will be open for use. On Thursday, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) made this announcement.
No institutions will perform offline admissions, according to the AHSEC. Beginning the first week of August 2023, the registration process for the academic year 2023–2024 will begin.
Only students who have completed the admissions process through the DARPAN portal will be permitted to finish the registration process.

Assam DARPAN Portal- Guidelines for Students
- The DARPAN portal is where the applicant should submit their application.
- A student’s profile can only be changed once before the university verifies their application.
- A student may submit a total of five (5) applications.
- Students can access the published and pending selections for admission to the first semester of higher education through the DARPAN portal. Students will receive an SMS to inform them about their selection.
- Students are advised to accept the only admission offered by the University for admission using their admission ID available on the portal immediately after the publication of the selection list.
- Once the application is approved, the student cannot change institutions.
- In order to finalize the admission, the student must be enrolled in the institution in question within the given period.
- While admitting students, students can change their preferred subject(s) or stream, and the institution in question will need to update this information on the portal on that day
How to Apply for HS 1st Year Online Admission through Assam DARPAN Portal
- First of all, go to the official website of the Assam DARPAN i.e., https://darpan.ahseconline.in/
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Now from the homepage, go to the student admission option.
- A new page will be displayed on the screen.
- Click on the ” Don’t have account? Click here to register a new account ” option if you are not already registered.
- Enter the registration details in the application form and get yourself registered.
- Now after successful registration, click on the student admission option.
- A new login page will be displayed on the screen.
- Enter the 10 digit mobile number, date of birth, and four digit pin and click on the login option.
- After successful login enter the details in the application form for the admission.
- In the end click on the submit option.

- First of all, go to the official website of the Assam DARPAN i.e., https://darpan.ahseconline.in/
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Click on the Login tab
- The login page will open on the screen
- Now, click on the New Institution Registration
- A new page will open on the screen
- Now, fill in the form with all the required details like:
- Name of the Institution
- District
- Address
- Post Office
- Village/Ward/Town
- PIN No
- Sub Division
- Name of the Principal
- Official Email ID, etc
- After that, upload all the required documents
- Now, enter the password for login and then accept the declaration
- Finally, click on the Register button to complete the registration process

- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.

- Once you will click on the Login button, the login page will open on the screen
- Now, enter your Institution Code or Verified Mobile Number and the Password
