The Odisha government has launched a city wage employment scheme to create jobs during the covid-19 lockdown. The government has converted this scheme into a comprehensive Open Scheme.

Objective Of Mukhyamantri Karma Tatpara Abhiyan

The main objective of the Mukhimantri Karma Tatpara campaign is to provide employment to the urban poor. Under this system, an ongoing temporary wage employment arrangement is converted into a full-fledged arrangement for employment.

Through the Prime Minister’s Karma Tatpara Abhiyan, the social vulnerabilities of the urban poor, including migrant workers and informal workers, were alleviated.
