Application Process of Maharashtra ₹1 Crop Insurance Scheme 2024

• Go to the official website of Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Yojana

• On the home page of the website, select the Farmer Application option below.
• Next, select the option for Guest Farmer.
• After that sign up as a new farmer.
• The farmer’s information needs to be entered here, at the beginning. You must choose the farmer’s entire name in this case, depending on whether the applicant is the farmer’s son, daughter, or wife. Next, the father’s or husband’s name needs to be entered.
• After entering the cellphone number, select “Verify.” A captcha code will then show up on the screen. Once entered, click “Get OTP.”
• After entering the OTP you received on your phone, hit Submit option.
• The next step in Farmer ID is to choose UID. After accurately entering the Aadhaar number, select Verify.
• A notification indicating the success of the verification will thereafter show on the screen.
• The bank account details must then be completed. Click “yes” if you are aware of the bank’s IFSC code; otherwise, click “no.”
• Next, choose the state, branch, bank name, and district. The IFSC code will immediately appear in front of the branch once it has been selected.
• Entering the bank account number is the next step. It needs to be confirmed and discarded.
• Ater entering the captcha code provided below, select Create User.
• Following that, you will be shown the information you have entered. Carefully read it and then click Next.
• Next, you’ll see information on your bank accounts. You must select one of these accounts and then click on Next. 
• Now to enter information about the crop insurance programme and locality, the state is Maharashtra, and the scheme name is Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, followed by the Kharip season and the year 2024.
• Crop details must be provided in the Land Details section. You may fill in the information below by clicking on this circle.
• You must agree to mix cropping if you want to pay insurance for multiple crops, such as cotton, soybeans, and mung beans. However, you have to say no to one crop in order to choose the one for which you would pay insurance.
• Choosing the sowing date comes next. After that, the account number and group number need to be input. Next, select the option to Verify.
