On Sunday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik gave financial assistance to farmers under KALIA Yojana List in honor of Utkal Dibasa 2023 (Odisha Day). Farmers from every district of the state except Jharsuguda have benefited from this subsidy.

Through their bank accounts, over 4.3 lakh farmer families have received assistance totaling Rs. 877 crores respectively. Jharsuguda farmers will get help in the bypolls as a model code of conduct is in force.

The Chief Minister said the welfare of farmers was the key to the development of the country. Consequently, we started the new fiscal year with the Kalia grant.

About Odisha KALIA Yojana

The Krushak Higher Living Income AssistanceKALIA Yojana List is a scheme of the Government of Odisha.

The Odisha government launched the KALIA scheme for landless farmers, farmers, growers and agricultural workers. Under this scheme, the government is going to provide the following benefits to the scheme beneficiaries:

• The first and foremost benefit of KALIA Yojana List is that the government is going to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers by providing Rs 25000 per family in five stages to help them purchase and produce, fertilizers, pesticides and other inputs Support to personnel and other investments.
• For agriculture-related projects like small duck rearing groups, small duck hatcheries, bat groups, fishing fish, mushroom farming and beekeeping, the government is going to provide Rs. 12500/- for each farm house without land.
• Even weak farmers/landless agricultural laborers will get Rs. 10000/- per family per annum for maintenance.
• Life insurance of Rs 2 lakh will also be provided at a nominal rate of Rs 330/- (Rs 165 to be paid by Government of Odisha) to those bank account holders of bank accounts, whose age is above 18 years and below 50 years .
• Personal accident cover of Rs 2 lakh at a nominal rate of Rs 12/- for bank account holders above 18 years and below 50 years.
• 50000/- will also provide crop loans to farmers with zero percent interest.

KALIA Yojana List Objective

• Freeing the farmer debtors from the debt trap is the first and foremost objective of the Government and more than Rs.10000/- crore has been sanctioned by the Government for this purpose.
• Attack poverty directly by providing financial assistance to the nation’s vulnerable farm households, landless workers and even marginal farmers.

Ineligibility for KALIA Yojana List

• Medium/large farmers
• Non-resident of Odisha
• If a beneficiary or his or her spouse is an employee under G, CG or PSU
• If a beneficiary or his or her spouse is a pension holder
• Those beneficiaries who are professionals register with professional bodies
• If the beneficiary belongs to an urban local body
• Those beneficiaries who are present/former central minister/state minister/MP/MLA/Mayor/Zila Parishad
• Income taxpayer
• Minor
• If the beneficiary has expired
• Holders of constitutional posts

• First, you need to open the official website of Crusher Assistance for Increasing Livelihood Income.
• You have to click on the “Beneficiary list” option from the menu bar on the home page.

• A new page will appear on the screen, and you will now have to choose your circle name
• Now select your Block/ ULB then GP
• Click the “View” button to get the PDF link

• Click on “Submit” to open the PDF and the PDF will appear on the computer screen

• Now to confirm your name in the list, you have to check your Kalia ID, name of the village, your name, father/husband’s name and gender.

KALIA Yojana List eKYC Procedure

• An eligible farmer in Odisha should visit the official website of KALIA portal.
• After that,t the official website you will see Complete your e-KYC Option.
• Now click on this option and read all the given instructions carefully.
• Now enter your Aadhaar number and then click on Verify Option.
• Please fill the Aadhaar card details correctly as any mistake while filling the Aadhaar card number will reject your application.

• If your mobile number is not seeded, you have to make the necessary corrections at any Aadhaar enrollment centre.
• At the end of KALIA eKYC Process, you have to click on Decelerations Option.
• Just follow all the given steps and your eKYC is complete.

• Applicants have to visit the official website to file their grievances under the Kalia Scheme
• The homepage of the website will appear on the computer screen, because you have to select the “online Grievance Application form” in the top right corner Instructions:

• Another page will appear on the screen with instructions, read them carefully and click on proceed option
• A question will appear on the screen: “Do you want to file a complaint?”. with two options yes and no
• Click yes and another screen will appear where you have to enter your Aadhaar card number
• Click on show option to view the complaint application form.
• Fill out the application form with the information asked
• Click the “submit” option to submit the form.
• The token number appears, make a note of it for further review.

• You should visit the official website of the applicants to view your KALIA program complaint application form
• The homepage of the website will appear on the computer screen, because you have to select the “online Grievance Application form” in the top right corner.
• Click on “track your application” in the upper right corner

• A new page will appear where you have to enter the token number
• Click on the show option to display the status of your application on the screen.
