Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched a scheme to launch small businesses in the state. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to help entrepreneurs run their businesses.
This will cover 1 lakh entrepreneurs in the country in three years. The project beneficiaries will receive partial reimbursement from the Government of Assam in the form of seed investment.
Once the money is deposited in the beneficiary’s account, the applicant can choose the company of his choice.
