Assam Finance Minister Pragya Bharti has announced the AHSEC Scooty Scheme under Scooty. Under this scheme, bicycles will be provided to young unschooled girls who have secured first marks in Class XII in the state board. This year, 22,000 girls in Assam scored well. Each will be given a scooter.

Assam Pragyan Bharti Scooty 2023 Benefits
- For the first time, the Assam government will provide free textbooks, uniforms and all other necessities required to go to school to all the beneficiaries.
- Assam government has allocated Rs. 1,000 to 1 lakh students for textbooks.
- Rs. 1500 and Rs. 2,000 textbook incentives will be given to students in postgraduate courses.
- The government will pay Rs. 1000 per month will be for all students towards their mess dues.
- The one-time education loan is Rs. 50,000 will be given
- Scooters will be provided to 20,000 female religious students studying in class 12th.
- It will be completely free for the 2020-21 academic year for all admissions students from high school through graduate school.
- This free access will also apply to medical, engineering and polytechnic courses.
