Objectives of Amrit Brikshya Andolan Renewal
By planning a plantation push, the Amrit Brikshya Andolan was introduced to plant several commercial plants in the state of Assam. The public would receive free seedlings for the plantation effort from the Assam State Forest Department. The Assam state government has scheduled a plantation push for August 1st to August 15th, 2024. 1.19 crore saplings were planted around the state of Assam by the state government last year.
