- The third phase received a maximum of 658 nomination papers from 26 parliamentary constituencies in Gujarat and 519 from 11 constituencies in Maharashtra.
- The election office also said it received the highest number of nomination papers for Osmanabad parliamentary constituency in Maharashtra with 77 and the highest with 68 from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.
- Eight candidates for Madhya Pradesh’s Betul seat, which was supposed to be the second round but was given the third round after the death of a BSP candidate, are among the 1,563 candidates
- Eight contenders withdrew their nominations, the candidature of the Congress candidate was canceled and BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal from Gujarat’s Surat seat was elected unopposed
- Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nagar Mahaveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are the 12 states and union territories that will vote in the third phase of the LS General Election
