Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 3:– The third round of elections for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be held in May This phase will have 94 constituencies in 12 states. The Election Commission began the process after a notification was issued by the Office of the Prime Minister.

The rules state that nominations must be filed by April 19. The third category includes the following states and Union Territories: Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya State, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh , . Dadra Nagar Haveli Daman Diu Goa.

Features of Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 3

• The third phase received a maximum of 658 nomination papers from 26 parliamentary constituencies in Gujarat and 519 from 11 constituencies in Maharashtra.
• The election office also said it received the highest number of nomination papers for Osmanabad parliamentary constituency in Maharashtra with 77 and the highest with 68 from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.
• Eight candidates for Madhya Pradesh’s Betul seat, which was supposed to be the second round but was given the third round after the death of a BSP candidate, are among the 1,563 candidates
• Eight contenders withdrew their nominations, the candidature of the Congress candidate was canceled and BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal from Gujarat’s Surat seat was elected unopposed
• Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nagar Mahaveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are the 12 states and union territories that will vote in the third phase of the LS General Election
